History

With the drafting of the Hydrogeological Plan for the Toce river basin, the collaboration with the Piedmont Region in the field of planning and management of water resources was born.

Hydrodata develops SIMPO projects, relating to the multi-use regulation of the Po, river arrangement for flood protection and navigation of inland waters.

Hydrodata becomes a consultant for Autostrade per l’Italia in the field of the design of hydraulic works and geotechnical-structural interventions necessary to protect infrastructures on a national scale.

Hydrodata begins its collaboration with ENEL S.p.A., with hydraulic studies and surveys for the construction of the Trino V. (VC) nuclear power plant.

With the study on the evaluation of the effects due to artificial floods or consequent to a hypothetical collapse of the dams in the Orco valley, the collaboration with the Municipal Energy Company of Turin – AEM S.p.A. was established.

Collaboration with the Po River Basin Authority and the Liri-Garigliano and Volturno River Basin Authority begins to support planning on hydraulic and hydrogeological risk.

With the Preliminary Study for the development and implementation of the Regional Plan of Hydroelectric Resources of the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta, it started the collaboration with the Compagnia Valdostana Acque – C.V.A. S.p.A.

Hydrodata intensifies its activities in the hydroelectric sector, working for the main national players and for self-producers: revamping of plants, assistance with authorisation paths, due diligence and support for Merger & Acquisition activities.

Hydrodata collaborates with the Piedmont Region, in collaboration with the East Sesia Irrigation Association, for an integrated management strategy and multiple use of the resource, with projects for artificial reservoirs and related dams (in Val Mastallone, on the Strona di Briona, on the Maira) and with master planning operations in the Baltea-Sesia-Ticino and south-western Piedmont territorial districts.

Hydrodata begins to collaborate and support, in the field of integrated water services, ATOs and operators in the preparation of business plans, area plans and economic-financial plans, in the definition and evolution of tariffs, as well as in management schemes.

Hydrodata develops surveys and studies aimed at the preparation of the Water Protection Plan of the Piedmont Region.

The collaboration with the Piedmont Region (later ARPA Piemonte) for the management of the instrumental hydrometric monitoring network and the production of daily hydrometric bulletins and regional hydrological annals begins.

Hydrodata begins its collaboration with Tirreno Power S.p.A. in the management of its reservoirs.
Over the years it has designed for Maira S.p.A., it builds and manages, with a view to generating and effectively managing externalities for the benefit of the local community, 3 hydroelectric plants in the Maira Valley (about 5MW installed).

An important collaboration with SMAT (Società Metropolitana Acque Torino) begins for the aqueduct of the Susa Valley: preliminary, definitive and executive design of the aqueduct adduction backbone between Bardonecchia and the gates of the metropolitan area of Turin.

SINA S.p.A. appoints Hydrodata for studies and final design of the hydraulic works relating to the road and rail access to the bridge over the Strait of Messina.

Hydrodata begins its collaboration with Enel Green Power S.p.A. both in the construction of new plants and revamping of hydroelectric power plants in Italy and abroad, and in the management/testing of the DMV release constraint at the outlets of hydroelectric plants in Piedmont.

The collaboration with the Puglia Region begins as part of the updating of the Water Protection Plan, which then continues in support of the preparation of the flood retention basins of some regional reservoirs.
On behalf of Syndial/ENI, Eni Rewind has now begun its collaboration on the remediation of polluted sites.

Hydrodata begins its collaboration with A2A with hydraulic civil engineering design services on hydroelectric plants in Italy.
Hydrodata participates in a project funded by the World Bank for the management of flood risk on some basins in Vietnam.

Hydrodata consolidates its collaboration with the main utilities for the management of the integrated water service in Veneto: revamping of plants, executive projects.
Hydrodata collaborates with the Municipality of Milan for the revision of the geological, hydrogeological and seismic component, for the adaptation of the hydrographic network and for the adaptation of the PGT to the Flood Risk Management Plan.

Hydrodata has been awarded the tender for the spillway project on the Bisagno stream in Genoa for the Liguria Region.
The collaboration with Acquedotto Pugliese for the adaptation and districtualisation of the water network in Puglia begins.

ARPA Piemonte has confirmed the assignment for the maintenance/management of the hydrometric monitoring network of the Piedmont Region.

Hydrodata continues its collaboration with Autostrade SpA for the inspection and verification of the risk conditions of minor crossings. For TECNE it conducts hydrogeological studies and surveys on the main motorway sections.

The Puglia Region entrusts Hydrodata with the development of the Hydromorphological Monitoring plan of the surface water bodies of the region for watercourses and reservoirs.

Continuation of technical and administrative due diligence by Hydrodata in the valuation of hydroelectric plants constituting national hydroelectric assets in M&A transactions.

Support to the City of Turin for the preparation of specialised documents in the context of the final and executive design of river works for the restoration of the navigability of the Po River, “TURIN, ITS PARK AND ITS RIVER: MEMORY AND FUTURE”.

For the Sicily Region, Department of Civil Protection Seismic and Volcanic Risks Service, Level 1 (MS1) seismic microzoning studies were carried out in the municipalities of Sicily affected by Etna seismic-volcanic events - Lot B Palermo. Approved 02/08/2023 by the National Technical Commission (Civil Protection Department).

Four-year framework agreement divided into technical design services for the construction of works referred to in the “Program of interventions for the mitigation of hydraulic risk of regional interest relating to the Sarno River basin” in the Campania Region.
